The council's proposal is to provide a new Community Hub on the site of the old Girdwood Barracks in North Belfast for Elite boxing, indoor sports facilities, community meeting/activity rooms, library, cafe and outdoor parklands.

The scheme was prepared for a funding bid by BCC. Estimated construction cost 5m
